Wightlink has announced the dates for its popular Meet the Manager events this Summer.
Customers will have the opportunity to talk to a range of senior staff from across the company and ask questions about services and its £45million investment in the Fishbourne-Portsmouth route.
Joining Wightlink Chief Executive Keith Greenfield and his senior colleagues will be Captains, senior shore staff, Contact Centre supervisors and staff responsible for retail operations.
Keith Greenfield says:
“Meet the Manager sessions are invaluable for us to find out what our customers think of our services and outline our future plans. People who travel with us often have good ideas to improve our services and we have taken several suggestions on board over the years.
“We are now building on their success by inviting colleagues who are responsible for day-to-day operations to join senior managers at our Island terminals.”
During 2017, Wightlink has started to sell a wider range of Island produce in its Wight Taste outlets on board St Clare and Wight Light. Samples of local food and drink will be available at Meet the Manager events and there will be music from Isle of Wight bands and groups.
This summer’s events will take place:
- Tuesday 6th June 2017 – Fishbourne terminal (16:00-18:00)
- Thursday 29th June 2017 – Ryde Pier Head (17:00-19:00)
- Thursday 13th July 2017 – Yarmouth terminal (16:00-18:00)
Later in the year, senior managers will also be travelling on board Wightlink ships and catamarans to meet customers and answer questions. Dates and times to be announced.
