Scottish superstar, Lewis Capaldi, has revealed he’s set to head to the Isle of Wight Festival – but fans of the ‘Someone You Loved’ singer will have to wait, as he won’t be appearing until 2022.
It comes as the line-up for this year’s festival was released this morning, as previously reported by Island Echo. Stars such as Duran Duran, Becky Hill, Sir Tom Jones, and David Guetta – but despite Capaldi being announced on the planned line-up for this year when it was announced in June of last year, there was no mention of him of the bill.
Announcing his appearance at Seaclose Park in a Tweet, Lewis explained why he won’t be appearing on the Main Stage this year:
“It’s with an extremely heavy heart that I’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule this year’s shows and put all my effort into making the best album I can for you. All of the new dates confirmed so far are on the image with this post and I’m doing all I can to get the rest back in as soon as possible.”

This festival should not be allowed this year.
Why? Please base your reply on fact and evidence.
They can’t – they want their sad little bubble world to continue
He can’t. Got to used to sitting at home on free money .
Totally agree with you it shouldnt be allowed to go ahead this year. we survived last year without it & we can survive again this year without it. Bring it back Next Year When it will be a lot safer A better Line up & more enjoyable for people to enjoy. Why should Residents suffer a third wave which could well happen
Money, Money, Money, it’s STILL a covid world
Should be interesting.
I’m sure him and Liam Gallagher don’t get on.
Didn’t they have a run in with each other a few years ago.
