There’s just 2 weeks to go until the popular Ryde Slide event returns to Union Street, raising much-needed funds for local charities and organisations.
2017 is set to be bigger and better than ever before with live music on the Western Gardens, a ‘Total Wipeout’ zone and the slide itself will be much quicker with things moving further down Union Street towards the Esplanade.
Ryde Inshore Rescue; Aspire Ryde; Ryde Arena Community Action Group; Waterside Community Trust and The Wight Brainy Bunch are all set to benefit from the funds raised through ticket sales and donations on the day, so dig deep and give generously to the town’s vital organisations.
