The Isle of Wight has picked up 4 nominations in the Group Travel Awards, as voted for by readers of Group Travel Organiser Magazine.
The Group Travel Awards celebrate the very best suppliers in group travel across 24 categories. The awards are organised by GTO Magazine which is the UK’s leading specialist group travel publication. It has nearly 10,000 regular readers including those who are responsible for outings and holidays for clubs, societies and social groups.
The 4 nominations are:
• Isle of Wight for Best UK Destination
• Wightlink for Best Sea Crossing Operator for Groups
• Norton Grange Coastal Village for Best Holiday Park for Groups
• IOW Tours for Best Group Tour Operator
The winners are to kept under wraps until the gala evening on Friday 2nd June at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel, London. TV Presenter and Sportsman Dan Lobb will host what will be a very special night celebrating the 21st anniversary of the Awards. Dan achieved world rankings as both a singles and a doubles tennis player and since retiring he has moved into TV.
The celebratory evening is open to all Group Travel Trade professionals and includes a networking drinks reception and 4-course gala dinner in the exquisite ballroom followed by entertainment until 02:00.
