Islanders are being given the opportunity to ask the Isle of Wight’s General Election candidates for their opinions on issues surrounding cross-Solent travel.
Should we have a fixed link? What can do they do about the cost of ferry services? How can they help improve the service for Islanders? These are some of the questions likely to be asked during the debate.
It has been confirmed that Conservative’s Bob Seely is unable to attend the event, but all other candidates will be present including Julie Jones-Evans (Ind), Julian Critchley (Lab), Vix Lowthion (Green), Nick Belfitt (Lib Dem) and Daryll Pitcher (UKIP).
The event will take place at The Riverside Centre, Newport tomorrow evening (Saturday 3rd June) from 18:00. There will be opportunity for guests to submit questions prior to the start of the debate.
