BUSINESSES, organisations and individuals across the Island have taken part in Go Yellow Day today (Friday) in aid of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice.

Shops have decorated their windows, residents have donned yellow outfits and other yellow-themed activities have been taking place across the Island, raising much needed funds for the Newport-based hospice.

Ryde based superstore, Tesco, have decorated the entrance to the store with a giant sunflower and have spent the day collecting donations from shoppers. Volunteers from the Earl Mountbatten Hospice have been manning a raffle at the store, with prizes donated kindly on behalf of Tesco from the Store Manager, Paul Wilson.
