HSBC in Ventnor is set to close its doors in November, it has been announced.
In just over two months time Ventnor will lose its last bank as HSBC have confirmed that they intend to close their High Street branch on 30th November. A notice appeared in branch yesterday (Wednesday) informing customers.
Account holders face travelling to nearby Shanklin or to Newport for their banking should the closure go ahead.
HSBC closed their Sandown branch back in 2011.
