Hovertravel ran their cross-Solent service later than ever before on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for Southsea’s Victorious Festival.
For the first time, Hovercraft lifted off from Ryde as late as 00:15, with the last crossing leaving the mainland side of the Solent at 00:30.
Loretta Lale, Head of Commercial at Hovertravel, said:
“This is the latest we have ever operated and being able to give island residents the opportunity to stay through to the end of the Victorious Festival demonstrates how flexible Hovertravel can be in supporting local events”.
