The Island’s Earl Mountbatten Hospice hosted the Grand Opening Party of it’s relocated Cowes Shop today (Saturday).
The former Aquatogs shop at 115 High Street, Cowes now homes the EMH Chairty shop, which was officially opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Island’s newly-appointed High Sheriff, Mary Case.
Music from local saxophonist Denzil lifted spirits while food and refreshments was offered for all.
With the relocation into these new premises, from its old home of 41 High Street, the EMH Cowes Shop hopes to offer its valued customers a better shopping experience, with more choice and good quality bargains in spacious modern surroundings.
Nick Orrey, The EMH Cowes Shop Manager, said: “We’re all really looking forward to opening up and greeting all of our loyal customers in the new shop, and hopefully meeting many more new ones. Today’s opening party is nearly three years to the day since we first opened up a shop in Cowes, and during these years we have had amazing support from, and become integrated within, the local community and we hope to carry on for many more years just up the road! I’d like to say a personal ‘Thank you’ to everyone who has supported the EMH Cowes Shop throughout the years, and especially to the volunteers and staff who have worked so hard to get the new shop ready for the opening.”
The EMH Cowes Shop, 115 High Street, Cowes, will be open from 9.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday.
