Many local Isle of Wight businesses have been supporters of Earl Mountbatten Hospice (EMH) for many years and continue to find new ways of raising funds for patient care, as well as continuing support through long-standing means such as yellow collection tins, playing the Hospice lottery through pay-roll and holding their own events.
Earl Mountbatten Hospice is hosting a networking event at The Regency Suite at Shanklin Conservative Club on Tuesday (25th March) from 14:30. On the day, members of the Hospice team will be presenting to local business representatives a comprehensive list of ways they can support patient care, so they can choose ways that suit them and their staff. They will also be looking for feedback on how businesses want to be involved in shaping how the Hospice works with them in the future. Light refreshments will be available.
Four venues for networking events have been secured for the year to offer a series of events to introduce new businesses to working with EMH, and to keep in touch with those who are already supporting patient care. There is also the valuable opportunity to network with each other.
There are many opportunities to support EMH, ranging from donating through pay-roll and hosting a yellow collection tin, to choosing the Hospice as charity of the year, registering a staff team for events, taking part in Go Yellow and encouraging staff to volunteer.
In order to estimate the attendance, the Fundraising Team asks that those attending let them know they are interested in attending by emailing [email protected], or by calling the fundraising office on 01983 528989.
