hareandhoundsoldStaff at the Hare and Hounds on the outskirts of Newport are inviting customers to a family fun day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on Tuesday 29th October.

The team will be making a refreshing change to their normal day at the special charity event, with face painting, pony rides and a bouncy castle for children all available. Cupcakes will be sold in aid of Macmillan, alongside tea and coffee for parents.

Georgi Newman, manager at the Hare and Hounds, said:

“There is something on for all the family and we are even running a cupcake hunt. It is all for a great cause and we hope to raise a lot of money for Macmillan.”

This event is in support of Greene King’s partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support that will see Greene King staff fundraising throughout the UK for the charity, aiming to raise £1million over three years.

Rachel Gascoigne, partnership account manager at Macmillan said:

“I’d like to thank everyone at the Hare and Hounds for their on-going support, and hope all the staff and customers have a great day.”
