A good samaritan has been offered a £100 reward for handing in £1,000 cash to Police.
The bundle of notes was found in Ryde High Street yesterday and was handed in to the authorities by an honest member of the public.
The rightful owner of the money, a local businessman, has since come forward and claimed the bundle.
For her honesty and kindness, the woman who found the money has been offered a small reward and will be meeting with the thankful owner today.
