SEVEN singers have put the Island on the map at a national level by taking victory in the Comic Relief Does Glee Club Final, aired on BBC1 yesterday evening.
Callum, Eloise, Harriet, Jack, Jazz, Lizzie and Thea, all part of the Medina Choir Glee Club ‘Reasonate’, impressed the nation with their performance of ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ from the hit West End musical Les Misérables.
The group, led by Medina College French teacher Hannah Brear, impressed the judges with judge Carrie Grant commenting: “If I was a record company I would sign you”.
