RESIDENTS are urged to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this weekend, with preparations getting underway across the Island.

From Saturday (2nd) until Tuesday (5th), a great variety of celebrations will be engulfing the Island, including Appley in Ryde.

The Isle of Wight Council supported event, which is taking place over the next 3 days, is set to include carnival parades, grand lunches, rescue displays, marching bands and so much more all at the ideal seaside location of Appley beach and gardens.
