The Isle of Wight will host its first-ever Collector’s Fair at Camphill Sports Club on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th November from 10:00–16:00.
This brand-new event promises a fantastic weekend for collectors, pop culture enthusiasts, and families alike – and best of all, entry is completely free, with a large on-site car park available.
As the debut fair, the weekend will feature an impressive mix of stalls, attractions, and local talent. Among the highlights will be Caulkhead Comics, the Island’s own independent comic book publisher, bringing their original artwork and acclaimed titles to the event. The team – creators Raven and Rob Mead – have made waves with their flagship series Hardcore Hare, which features the likeness of film actor Craig Fairbrass and has earned a reputation for its bold storytelling and distinctive visual style.
Model railway fans will be in for a treat too, with a major display and sale from a dedicated collector showcasing over 100 engines, 60+ Scaledale boxed buildings, extensive rolling stock, track points, and accessories. The collection also includes Eddie Stobart memorabilia, vintage models, EFE trucks and buses, and around 100 Oxford 1:76 scale models.
Visitors can browse an eclectic range of pop culture stalls, offering everything from Star Wars, Marvel, and DC collectibles to Barbie, Bratz, Pokémon cards, and Disney merchandise. On Sunday, families can also enjoy a stall selling Imagination Begins children’s books – ideal for younger visitors.
Adding to the fun will be a Mario Kart tournament and a tombola packed with exciting pop culture prizes. A cheap bar and Vivid Catering food stall will be open throughout the weekend, offering refreshments and a space to relax between browsing.
From vintage toys and model trains to comic books and collectibles, the Island’s first Collector’s Fair promises something for everyone – and could well become a new favourite on the local events calendar.
