As the nights draw in and with Christmas just around the corner, Freshwater Independent Lifeboat are thanking supporters by hosting a free Santa’s Grotto on Saturday 7th December.
The boathouse doors will once again be thrown open to welcome Santa, his snow ponies and local visitors between midday and 15:30.
With generous support from Co-op Funeral Services, Medina Food Services, The Entertainer Toy shop and Poundland, the independent charity are able to give visiting children a free gift each. There will be free drinks and a mince pie for the adults.
Tickets for the annual Grand Prize Draw will be sold on the day with prizes valued up to £1,300.
Santa has said:
“I’m really looking forward to meeting all the children and parents. Don’t forget, Leira the Icelandic snow pony will be coming along as well to say hello.”
