Naomi House & Jacksplace hospices have launched a scheme to allow local people to receive a free Will writing service from local solicitors.
‘Make your Will Fortnight’ takes place until Friday 10th November. During this time law firms, Bembridge Law, Terrence Willey and Wheelers will waive their normal basic or standard Will writing fee in return for a donation to Naomi House & Jacksplace.
A further 21 law firms are taking part across Hampshire, Dorset, Berkshire and the Isle of Wight.
Keith Wilson, Marketing Manager at Naomi House and Jacksplace said:
“We are delighted that such highly regarded local solicitors have agreed to support our appeal. Make Your Will Fortnight is a wonderful opportunity to support Naomi House & Jacksplace while tackling an important part of your own personal affairs. Everyone can benefit from making or reviewing their Will, particularly if you have recently moved house, had children, divorced, retired or married. In doing so, you will be helping hundreds of local children, young people and their families.”
24 solicitors firms are taking part in Make your Will Fortnight across the South, and staff at Naomi House & Jacksplace hope that the scheme will raise more than £5,000 to fund care for the region’s most seriously ill children, young people and their families.
People wishing to take part in Make your Will Fortnight should contact their chosen solicitor before 10th November.
