An exercise between the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service and the Isle of Wight NHS Trust is taking place at St Mary’s Hospital in Newport tonight (Monday).
A number of fire appliances will be present at the Island’s hospital between 19:00 and 21:00 to test joint working between the 2 organisations.
Some activity will be visible to patients and visitors although most activity will happen in areas not usually accessed by the public.
Patient care and visiting times will not be affected by the exercise.
