The crew from RPL Construction, modelling 80s style mullets, got down to some serious training this week in readiness tomorrow’s Isle of Wight Day Human Table Football challenge at Carisbrooke Castle.
Human Table Football requires players to grip the bar and slide from side to side, trying to shoot or pass the ball forward. With 6 players in each team, a match is 8 minutes long. Each team plays at least 3 matches.
There is still time to get a 5-a-side team together and get competitive this Saturday. It could be colleagues at work, neighbours at home or a family affair. This game suits all adult ages and abilities.
Register your team at www.isleofwightday.com or just pay and play on the day – for just £3 per person, per game.
Isle of Wight Day returns for 2019 on Saturday 21st September with the event centring around Carisbrooke Castle, near Newport.
