Last Sunday (24th April) Liam Somerville and Faye Faber from the Isle of Wight Cycling Club travelled to Liss to compete in the Mixed 2-up category of the Wessex 2-up Grand Prix des Gentlemen.
Despite freezing temperatures and not having ridden the course beforehand the pair managed to win their category by an impressive 3 minutes.
The duo will be racing separately in Wales Sunday week (15th May) on one of the country’s fastest 25 mile courses.
