Police are investigating an assault on a 36-year-old woman in Newport during the early hours of Sunday morning.
The victim was punched in the shoulder and to the side of the head after a fight broke out on Chain Lane in the town, outside Rocket Ronnies pool hall. The incident took take between 00:10 and 00:30.
Officers are now appealing for anyone with any information to come forward by calling 101 and quoting 44170180251.
