A festive twist is coming to Cowes next month as Mathew Priest from ’90s chart-toppers Dodgy returns as guest quizmaster for a special charity quiz night in aid of the Isle of Wight Youth Trust.
The event takes place at the Island Sailing Club on Wednesday 10th December at 20:00, following Priest’s hugely popular quiz back in April which raised £1,000 for the charity. Organised by Medina Bookshop, the evening promises the same lively fun – this time with a Christmas flavour.
The drummer, renowned for his irreverent humour, continues to run well-loved weekly quizzes in both Salisbury and Bath. His Cowes appearance will feature several general knowledge rounds before culminating in Bangers Bingo, guaranteed to have the room singing along to a selection of iconic tracks.
As well as offering a great night out, all proceeds will support the Isle of Wight Youth Trust, which provides vital wellbeing services for young people across the Island.
Tickets are £10 per person, with teams capped at 6. Early booking is encouraged and teams are advised to book together, or to clearly state who they wish to sit with. Tickets are available from Medina Bookshop on 01983 300044 or via their website.
Doors open from 18:00 with tapas served until 20:00, ahead of the quiz beginning at 20:00.
