Dame Judi Dench and comedian Eddie Izzard, the stars of the new film ‘Victoria & Abdul’, have returned to the Isle of Wight this weekend.
It’s the first time the duo have been on the Island since filming several parts of the recently-released film at Osborne House in East Cowes – the former home of Queen Victoria.
Eddie was spotted in Cowes yesterday (Friday) where he not only stopped for a photograph, but donated £100 to the ‘Say No to Cancer‘ fundraising event at The Vectis Tavern. Cowes barman Richard Bunday was diagnosed with terminal cancer earlier this year and has therefore taken the decision to help raise funds for terminally ill young adults.
Dame Judi was seen crossing the Solent on the Wightlink ferry.
