Cowes RNLI lifeboat station is opening its door this Saturday to anyone interested in becoming part of its visitor team.
Lifeboat visitor officer Steve Price explained that the station needs to recruit more volunteers to tell visitors about the station, its lifeboat, and history of the RNLI.
“We are looking for people who are good communicators, who would be available from time to time to receive individuals and parties visiting the station.”

Since being opened by Her Majesty the Queen in 2012 the station has received a growing number of visitors of all ages.
Saturday’s recruitment session takes place between 10:30 and 16:00.
