HM Coastguard were called out to assist the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service in Cowes late last night (Sunday).
A sailor on board a yacht sustained an injury whilst out on the Solent and required stretchering off to receive treatment.
The Needles Coastguard Rescue Team were called into action at 23:05 and assisted paramedics in moving the injured individual from the boat at Trinity Landing, Cowes.
