A family-friendly fundraiser in support of POTS UK will take place in Newport this Saturday, helping raise awareness and vital donations for the national charity.
Doors open at 15:00 on 29th November for the Raise the Rhythm Charity Quiz Night and Raffle at Town Choice Café, Newport. The event will feature a quiz, a raffle, and live music from Corrine Atkins and Greg Barnes Trimani, with entry by donation at the door.
POTS – Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome – is a condition in which the body struggles to properly regulate heart rate and blood flow when standing. Symptoms can include dizziness, fainting, fatigue and cognitive difficulties, yet the condition remains widely under-recognised and frequently misdiagnosed.
Organisers say the afternoon promises fun for all ages while helping to raise vital funds for POTS UK, which provides national support, information and advocacy for those living with the condition.
The event will be held at Town Choice Café, 6–8 Town Lane, Newport (PO30 1JU).
