A team of dedicated cleaners faced Baltic-like conditions on Friday to clean up a stretch of beach in the West Wight.
Over 27 full black bags were filled up at Compton Beach and taken to the car-park for collection, with an amazing further 19 bags left for the National Trust to pick-up with a tractor.
The event was held as part of The Big Spring Beach Clean in association with Surfers against Sewage.
Congratulations to all of those who took part to keep the Island’s beaches free from litter.
