bagabraBag a Bra Day 2013 has been a huge success for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance this year, with people from all over the county pitching in and bringing along their bras.

A grand total of 1086 bras were collected on Thursday 23rd May, Bag a Bra day, by volunteers and staff members who braved the rain, and stood in allocated car parks around Hampshire awaiting ladies laden with bags full of bras!

On the Isle of Wight, volunteer Lynne Hibberd set up a brilliant campaign called ‘Swap a D Cup for a Tea Cup!’ This was a great way for ladies to pop in throughout the day to have a cup of tea in exchange for their unwanted bras.
