Police on the Isle of Wight have taken to Twitter this morning (Monday) to launch an appeal for information about a racing bike that was stolen overnight.
The red and black ‘Giant’ bicycle was taken from a property in Newport sometime between 23:00 last night and 07:00 this morning.
Last night’s theft is the latest bicycle-related crime on the Island, with at least 4 bikes stolen at the end of April. A £2,000 bicycle was also taken from outside a shop in Bembridge last month.
