Artful Dodger, established as the most commercially successful UK Garage act to have emerged from the scene to date, will be performing at Eklectica – the new, boutique music festival taking place at Robin Hill this September.
Organisers have announced a series of new acts to join the line up including Applebottom, Kry Wolf, Altern8 and Daft Punk tribute experience Daft Club, who’ll make up a 2-day programme of fresh, up-tempo sounds in the heart of the stunning woodlands at Robin Hill near Newport.
Originally comprising of producers Mark Hill, Pete Devereux and MC Alistair, Artful Dodger produced an amazing string of chart topping hits, remixes and a platinum selling album, It’s All About The Stragglers. With Pete and Mark deciding to follow different musical paths, MC Alistair continued to bring the chart-topping brand to the clubs and festivals around the world by linking up with David Low, the co-owner of the Label Public Demand Records, responsible for signing and breaking the Artful Dodger brand. An instant success, the duo have been tearing up dance floors for over 10 years and their reputation as an MC/DJ has become highly rated.
James Crofts, Park Manager at Robin Hill, said:
“We’re super excited how the line-up for our stunning woodlands area of the park is coming together. The fantastic blend of fresh underground sounds and iconic dance music titans across the weekend won’t disappoint.
“With literally decades of experience putting on amazing parties between the artists involved, anyone coming to Eklectika in search of an amazing clubbing experience isn’t going to need to look far to get their fix.”
Described as a festival with a twist, Eklectica is an exciting combination of bands, DJs and acts that promise to be diverse, quirky and creative, headlined by internationally renowned, show stopping tribute bands – all set within the unique woodland setting of Robin Hill.
