CROWDS gathered at Osborne House today to celebrate former monarch Queen Victoria, as part of the Diamond Jubilee.

A picture prefect Queen Victoria look-a-like entertained visitors at the former Royal residence as she exited by horse and carriage, before inspecting the Royal guards in a very real re-enactment of tradition a 100 years ago.

The three-day event continues into tomorrow with a variety of shows and games on offer, plus the normal opening of Osborne House.
