A 39-year-old man arrested on suspicion of arson following a large blaze in Shanklin is to face no further action.
Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that the unnamed man has today (Thursday) been released from bail and will face no further action in relation to the ongoing investigation.
As first reported by Island Echo, the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were called to Victoria Avenue during the early hours of 18th February this year. 7 people were evacuated from the building, 1 was hospitalised.
A 18-year-old man, who was also arrested on suspicion of arson, was released without charge last month.
