The inspiring story of Kate Granger, the doctor who founded the #hellomynameis campaign, will be among the highlights of Earl Mountbatten Hospice’s 35th anniversary Care and Innovation conference later this year.
Kate, who was a leading campaigner for better patient care, died last July at a hospice in Leeds. Her husband Chris Pointon is keeping her #hellomynameis campaign alive and will be one of the key speakers at the hospice conference on 3rd November 2017.

“I hope to inspire many and also talk through a personal journey that culminated in amazing hospice care for my beautiful wife Kate.”
The one-day event, at the New Holmwood Hotel in Cowes, will feature a number of national and local expert speakers in the fields of end of life/palliative care, along with opportunities to put learning into practice with a number of workshops. The conference is designed for anyone interested in, or already working in, health and social care.
