26-year-old James Arbery has been sentenced to 32 months in prison for robbing a Central Convenience store at knife point in order to pay off his drug debts.
Arbery, of Carisbrooke Road, entered the Central Convenience store on Upper St James’ Street in the centre of Newport on 9th February this year, as previously reported by Island Echo. He pulled a knife on the store’s cashier before making off with £200.
