A stolen pushbike worth £1,200 has been successfully recovered by Police with 2 males detained on suspicion of theft.
Officers investigating reports of a pedal cycle being stolen on the Isle of Wight uncovered CCTV footage which captured the thieves in the act.
It didn’t take long for Police to identify their suspects, with the search of a residential address being carried out early this morning (Thursday).
A 19-year-old male and a 46-year-old male, both from the Arreton area, have been arrested on suspicion of theft. The stolen bicycle was found in a bedroom.
A small amount of cannabis was also discovered at the property.
Enquiries are ongoing.
