Yarmouth RNLI went to the aid of a fishing vessel with mechanical failure approximately 2 nautical miles south of The Needles yesterday afternoon (Friday).
The All Weather Lifeboat was tasked to launch by Solent Coastguard at 15:45.
The fishermen aboard the stricken vessel, The Wight Strike 2, were very glad of a tow back to Yarmouth Harbour in the fading light.
