In the 29th minute, US Portsmouth equalised for a 2nd time through Simon Woods, who slid the ball home from a tight angle (2-2). The final goal of the 1st half came a minute before the half time break courtesy of a Ryan Oatley header, with Colson supplying the cross (2-3).
