Island promoters Real Live Events return to their rock roots this Summer with a band endorsed by one of the rock legends they pay tribute to.

WRONG JOVI were described by Bon Jovi’s own lead guitarist and songwriter Richie Sambora as ‘Awesome!’ and will arrive in Ryde for their island debut on Friday 14th July to play Coburgs.

With a set list crammed full of sing-along anthems, live favourites and rarities, Island audiences are guaranteed the ultimate Bon Jovi experience. Expect all the greatest hits including Wanted Dead or Alive; Keep The Faith; It’s My Life; Lay Your Hands On Me; Bed of Roses and of course Livin’ On A Prayer!

Promoter Jon Mortimer has said:

‘The guys approached me to play here and when they told me the band name I just immediately thought well it’s funny but you’d sure as hell better be good coz it’s kind of asking for trouble. It turned out they were brilliant so we were on!”

The band feature Ally Ward as Wrong Jon Jovi on vocals and Mark Harding as Wrong Richie on lead guitar, whose only previous visit to the Isle of Wight was as a child when he visited Blackgang Chine.

Support comes from one of the Island’s hardest rocking groups, Cobra. Tickets, priced £12 in advance, are on sale now from Visual Impact or Gold Tone Music in Newport; Volume One Music Shop, Shanklin; Lesley’s Nutshell Ventnor; Bagel Wrap, Ryde or online at
