Temperatures are expected to fall over the next few days, which could bring a mix of hail, sleet and possibly even snow to the Isle of Wight.
Forecasters at IW Met Service have been looking at the week ahead and have suggested that Tuesday and Wednesday will be cold enough for some wintry showers at times.
Things will turn colder for a brief time next week which means any showers that come through could well deliver hail, sleet and perhaps a few flakes of snow. Although there is still the chance that it will fall as rain, bringing more wet weather to our shores.
This winter has been fairly mild on the whole with only a few showers of sleet here and there.
