Do you have what it takes to win the prestigious Shrove Tuesday Pancake Trophy during Yarmouth’s traditional pancake race next week?
The race – which is organised by Yarmouth Carnival Committee – will take place on Shrove Tuesday (21st February) at 09:30 in Yarmouth Town Square. Locals will battle it out to see who’s the fastest – all whilst running with a pancake in their hand.
Anyone taking part is encouraged to wear fancy dress and to bring their own pancakes, pans and aprons, with prizes available for the winners in each respective category.
This event is weather dependent.
