Wightlink has announced the dates for the next round of its popular Meet the Managers customer consultation events in 2016.
Managers will be listening to customers’ views and answering their questions about Wightlink services across all three routes.
Interim Chief Executive John Burrows said:
“Senior managers from across the company enjoy meeting customers over a cup of tea or coffee and finding out what they think about our sailings from Fishbourne, Ryde Pier Head and Yarmouth.
“In the past, we have frequently taken on board suggestions from customers such as scheduling later catamaran sailings and improving our discounted Multilink Pass tickets.”
Managers will be out and about:
• Friday 1st April 2016 on board St Clare* (17:00 sailing from Portsmouth, 18:00 from Fishbourne)
• Tuesday 10th May 2016 at Yarmouth ticket office (16:00-18:00)
• Thursday 21st July 2016 at Ryde Pier Head (16:00-18:00)
Free non-landing return foot passenger tickets will be available for anyone wanting to talk to the managers on board the 1st April sailing on St Clare.
Two Wightlink Customer Forum groups will continue to meet in 2016. These are held for regular customers who would like to discuss services in more detail with senior managers. The West group is for people who use the Yarmouth-Lymington route, the East group is for customers of the Fishbourne-Portsmouth Gunwharf and Ryde Pier Head-Portsmouth Harbour routes.
