“There is so much to see and do during the colder months on the Isle of Wight, and this edition shows that the Island is open for business all year round.

“I am very pleased to be launching an issue that provides everything a visitor needs to know, whether crossing the Solent for the first time or returning for another trip. Winter is a fantastic time to visit the Island, with fewer people and a quieter pace of life, but still with all the natural beauty and cheerful winter wonderland spirit the Island has to offer.”

The Winter 2016 edition of Wightlife includes information on how families can discover the ‘Handmade Isle’, making the most of the large community of artisans and contemporary makers who create original products on the Island, with many opportunities to pick up unique gifts. It also details where they can find Santa Claus. It is packed with ideas on all types of activities, entertainment and attractions, both old and new, as well as recommendations for where to eat and drink while exploring the wintery charm of the Isle of Wight.

Wightlife Magazine can be read online at www.wightlink.co.uk and a printed copy of the magazine can be ordered via the website. Click on Free Island Guide at the bottom of the home page.
