In times of doom and gloom when events across the Island are being cancelled, charities, as well as businesses, will suffer but WightAID have come up to a digital solution to their duck race.
Over the past few weeks, WightAID have been selling ducks for their annual Easter duck Race.
Sadly, due to the Coronavirus and restrictions with putting the public at risk, the race cannot be publicly held this year.
Thanks to a few hardy volunteers, the race will run without the public and will instead be live-streamed on Facebook on Saturday 11th April.
Ducks can be purchased for £1 each via www.wightaid.org/events.
All the money raised from this event will help WightAID to support small Island charities and community groups with grants.

Live stream!….no pun intended!! Hahaha
Can’t wait to see Mike fall in live again this year. Very funny. Xx
