11 Wight Tri members took part in the final event of the Ryde Harriers series – the Arthur Biggs Handicap – that doubled as the Wight Tri Cross Country Championships on Sunday (23rd February).

To compete in this event runners must have taken part in at least 1 of the first 2 events where their best time would set the handicap mark for the final event. Those who only took part in the second event the IOW XC Championships were at a considerable advantage as the course was significantly slower than on the first event.

Conditions were slightly better than the last event the week before.
