Organisers of August’s inaugural Wight Proms event have added a special comedy night to the outdoor-picnic festival schedule.
For one night only, Wight Proms will be bringing international comedy to the Isle of Wight in the form of Omid Djalili, Boothyby Graffoe and Micky P Kerr.
The event will take place on the Friday of the 4-day festival, which will take place between 16th-19th August in the grounds of Northwood House, Cowes as well as inside the grade II* listed Georgian manor house.
As well as comedy, it has been previously been announced that Kerry Ellis, Earl Carpenter, Daniel Boys and Anna Chancellor will all be performing at ‘Wight at the Musicals’ on Saturday 18th August. The first of the open-air concerts will transport you to the world of musical theatre; bringing you some of the best-known and popular songs from West End and Broadway.
‘Last Wight of the Proms’ on Sunday 19th August will see Blake, Mary-Jess and Isle of Wight Promenade Orchestra take to the stage.
Tickets are now on sale at www.wightproms.co.uk/tickets or call 01983 213622.
