A special tasting event at Ventnor Arts Club on Friday 19th February will celebrate the distiller’s art at its absolute best.
Taken from single casks, the Scottish Malt Whisky Society bottles being brought to Ventnor are said to be exceptional. The very nature of single cask whisky means that each Society bottling is limited. Once the contents of the cask has gone, it’s gone forever but not before you have a chance to enjoy them.
Society member Richard Piercy will talk through 6 beautiful and diverse examples of traditional and modern distilling. They will also be serving some delicious Scottish cheeses and apparently it’s usual to include a little beer palate cleanser between drams. So they will.
This is a rare, premium event and places are limited. The price reflects the exclusivity of this fine expensive whisky and the expertise of the characterful leader Richard who is coming to the Island.
