With the Isle of Wight set to be under Tier 3 restrictions from Boxing Day, what is in store for those learning to drive?
Well, it is good news. In England, driving lessons and motorcycle training can take place in areas for those living in Tiers 1, 2 and 3.
Currently, it is only those in Tier 4 who cannot take driving lessons or motorcycle training.
This is a relief for some, as during the last 2 national lockdowns Islanders were unable to have lessons and tests were suspended.
As previously reported by Island Echo, the Government has announced that the Isle of Wight will be plunged into Tier 3 from 00:01 on 26th December.
