Whitecroft & Barton Sports have made a further step towards a Harwoods Division 1 Championship and Island Echo Challenge Cup double by comfortably beating Binstead at the Molehill. After a goalless 1st half, Matt Evans opened the scoring for the league leaders in the 48th minute (1-0). San Yelland then doubled W&B’s lead on the hour mark (2-0). 2 minutes later, Ollie Frost added a 3rd goal for the away side (3-0). Josh Appell extended W&B’s lead with 20 minutes of the match remaining (4-0). Binstead pulled a goal back in the 75th minute (4-1) before Ollie Frost bagged his brace (5-1) to restore W&B’s 4-goal advantage. Full time: Binstead & COB 1-5 Whitecroft & Barton Sports 
W&B’s win leaves the unbeaten league leaders 5 points clear of West Wight at the top of the table with 53 points from 17 games and 3 games of their season remaining. Binstead are 7th with 2 games of their season left to play. A win against West Wight at Sandy Lane on Saturday will see W&B clinch the Division 1 title.
