Indie rock band The K’s are heading to Strings in Newport on Thursday as part of a 12-date UK headline tour.
The Warrington-based band – who were built on playing live to an audience – have previously performed at Reading and Leeds and at the Isle of Wight Festival.
The K’s have also played major support slots for James and Liam Gallagher, and have toured ceaselessly since their inception.
The band have also recently released a new single “Hoping Maybe”, taken from a new album that is set to be released in November.
Of the new single, vocalist Jamie Boyle says:
“Out of all of the tracks I’ve written, I think “Hoping Maybe” means the most to me. It adds another level of intimacy to our live show, and there is something special in the way we connect with the crowd every single time we play it.”
