Ventnor launched this year’s Poppy Appeal in style with a parade around the town on (Saturday).
The parade, that formed up in Dudley Road, moved off at 10:30 before making its way up Pier Street, along the High Street and stopping off in the Central Car Park.
Here a small ceremony took place in the company of the Lord Lieutenant, Major General Martin White.
Strong crowds gathered at the ceremony, which lasted around half an hour.
